Helping Our Community during Covid Crisis

Through the release of her latest single, “Hoy”, Fatiniza is lifting the spirits of people all around the world. In fact, the music video features fans dancing along to the important message found in her lyrics, showing just how strong the human spirit can be even when faced by a world in lockdown, economic downturn, and thousands of lives lost.

But Fatiniza didn’t stop there. She has been working on the front lines alongside local Guanacaste charities Juntos por Guanacaste, CEPIA, and Tank Tops & Flip Flops by delivering food and cleaning products to some of the most remote and financially burdened communities. These charities and their volunteers have been working tirelessly to support those greatly affected by the current pandemic.

And, it’s working. Thousands of people have benefited from these charities’ efforts through donations, volunteers, and the community coming together as one to ensure that no one goes hungry and all families are taken care of. In April and May alone, over 6,000 people were provided with much needed essential products.

Though significant strides have been made, there is a fear in these volunteers minds. A second wave of the virus is likely to strike, leaving millions of people struggling with financial and food insecurity that could quickly escalate into poverty and even starvation.

We need your help to continue this mission. Many of our hardworking community members have been regretfully out of work for months, and your help is needed now more than ever to ensure their survival. If you can help, please get in touch. Your time and efforts are greatly appreciated and we look forward to securing the prosperity of our community members with your help.
